Greenhouse Effect Response Class Menu Project

I read an article which spoke about the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect is tricky because we need it in order to sustain life on earth but now, it is heating up the earth too much as a result of many components. The greenhouse effect is the process that raises the temperature of air in the lower atmosphere due to heat trapped by greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and ozone. Humans greatly contribute to the increase in greenhouse gasses. Whenever we drive our cars, work in factories which produce goods, or use any type of energy which the burning of fossil fuels is needed, we are contributing to the greenhouse effect. The rise in green house gasses is a prime factor in global warming. Because the earth is warming so rapidly, all aspects of life are being affected. But the rise in temperature due to the increase of greenhouse gasses is not the only change the earth has undergone. Many animals are affected greatly by the increase of carbon dioxide in the air, and pollution in their atmosphere. In my opinion, the greenhouse affect is a scary crucial concept and something must be done to the breaks on global warming and the rise of greenhouse gasses.

Extra Credit Responce. Science Related to T.v. show episode.

I watched the show Law and Order; Special Victims Unit this afternoon. The episode was about a serial rapist. Generally, the detectives would take fluids or finger prints left on the victim and match it to their suspects DNA. If there was a match, you had your Perp. However, in today's episode, the Perp left behind no fluids nor finger prints on his victim's. Instead, the forensic scientist was able to locate hair fibers on the victim's body and was then later able to match those hair fibers to the detectives suspect. Without science all police work would be a lot more difficult !
